A once human Necromancer. Vardrath was described as a pale figure dressed all in black. The smell of death was strong about him, and his pale flesh shone slightly, as if a fine coating of scales covered his skin. His hands were like skeletal claws, covered in shiny parchment and being iron-clawed were as good a weapon as any blade. Elemental malice and hatred to life radiated from him. Vardrath was aware of the Staff of Rulership having been stolen, and had intended to have it for himself. His designs were known by the Dark Elf, Naas, who subsequently informed the hero known as Wyrm-Slayer. Vardrath was killed by the latter in a cemetery in Ashkyos in 284AC.
