The spells of Unuk Kochaar were ancient and powerful and invoked by wizards to try to force things to their will. However, it was deeper knowledge of their meaning that would give a practitioner satisfactory results rather than the sheer power wielded. It is believed that Unuk Kochaar was a Zamarran corruption of the name Ushun Koja, the first ruler of Kazan and a mighty warlock of ancient south west Khul.
