A powerful black beast of the Inland Sea area of Khul. It is known to have been used as a protection against robbery by a number of states, most notably Kish. The beast, if used in this way, will be placed in the vaults of the bank or courts. If a robber makes it as far as the vault they will therefore have one more problem to deal with. The name suggests a connection with the Snake Demon Prince, but it is thought a coincidence.
