Description:
Such whistles were created by the Stargazers to allow the user to talk to the magical Mere people of the region (once an inland sea now a marsh). The Stargazer inscription on the whistle is in ancient Kabeshian (in fact the inscription is a more ancient language from which ancient Kabeshian came but was little different from it).
