Description:
This is a title given to the chief samurai and champion of the ruler of Hachiman. The most famous of these champions was the one known as 'Kensei', meaning Sword Saint, the champion of Kihei Hasekawa. It was Kensei who retrieved Dai-Katana ('Singing Death', the great sword of the Shogun said to be the soul of Hachiman) from the grasp of Ikiru, Master of Shadows.
