At the end of the year the peoples of Khul mark the New Year with five days of celebration, which ranges from raucous merrymaking to prayer to the various goods for a prosperous year to come. The highly religious citizens of Buruna and Ximoran spend five days in solid prayer stopping only on the evening of the fifth day for feasting and celebration.
