Description:
In Hachiman, usually a six to eight foot staff with a curved sword-like blade at one end. It is used by foot soldiers against horsemen or to cut the tendons of horses or disembowel them; also a favourite weapon of the wives of samurai and of warrior monks of Hachiman.
