A powerful order of wizards who watch over south west Khul and advise and counsel the leaders of the countries in that region. There are twelve Wizards in Order at any one time, of whom Astragal is pre-eminent having taken over as leader after the treachery of Jaxartes. The Order has placed limits upon its own influence. For instance, with regard to Kazan, once the race of the Select to the Throne of Kazan has begun, no wizard who does not reside in Kazan may enter that land, by order of Mage Council.
