Description:
Throughout the continent of Khul, the months are reckoned in the same way. There are twelve months, each of five weeks of six days each (see Khulian Days). The months are named as follows: Snow's Cloak; Skies in Darkness; Land's Awakening; Heaven's Weeping; Birds Chatter; Days Lengthen;; Corn Ripening; Man's Harvesting; Forest's Golden; Nature's Curling; Sun's Hiding; and Land's Sleeping. At the end of the year the peoples of Khul mark the New Year with five days of celebration, which ranges from raucous merrymaking to prayer to the various goods for a prosperous year to come.
