Description:

The wondrous and strange city in the north of Khul. Its rise came in the time of the Khanate of Kabesh were it acted as the northern most garrison protecting the civilised lands from the wild races of the Throff Peninsular. Here in Kalagar they bred the fearsome Kalagarian Hounds, taken from the native wolves of the northern lands. Kalagar is still a wealthy city, enjoying the benefits of being on the lucrative northern trade route, and also being the first port in which sailors would set their anchor if journeying from the north. Kalagar is a most superstitious city and has produced a number of prophets over the centuries who are taken most seriously by the population. Not only does the Great Northern Trade Route find its terminus in Kalagar, but also the Kalagarian Way starts here travelling eastward for many months through Pikestaff Plain and on to Arion through Affen forest.
