The Forest Goblins of Khul dwell in the great forests of Transoxalia, sometimes termed the Western Cloudhigh Forest. They seem relatively primitive now, however, their culture is ancient and proud going back thousands of years in this area, before even the First Battle. There is much evidence of literature and magic in the distant past. The Wizard of Lake Mlubz holds many books in his library on the subject. It is suspected that the hero Gravalan was a Forest Goblin. However, since its height in Irritarian times their civilisation has diminished in stature and much of this may well be due to the corruption of the Great War. The Goblins of the Forest owe allegiance to their King who dwells deep inside the Forest.
