Aeons ago when the marsh of Deathmoor was a lake a terrible curse fell upon a stretch of coastline and it became inhabited by these creatures. Flesh Easters are enormous serpentine monsters that can slither over land or glide through water with astonishing speed. Until recently, only one remained in Khul, and at the time was old, as old as the hills. This last of the terrible monsters was killed by the Lonely Mariner.
