Several villages are located in this pleasant valley to the north of Lake Nekros. The population is a mixture of human and other intelligent species. The villages themselves are bound into a loose federation under a single overlord who occupies the fortified castle in the middle of the dale. This lord is known as the Lord of Fallow Dale. It has been said that the fortifications of the castle are purely for external enemies because the villages live at peace with one another. The inhabitants of Fallow Dale are also known for their love of medlar wine and mead.
