Originally called the Kasbled, this mighty river runs from Buruna on the Ocean of Tempests in the west of Khul, inland. Upon its banks was built Shakista, capital of Klarash. The river far predates the splitting of the continents being a major waterway of Taralak. In fact records show that 766 OT, 10th Corn Ripening (8th Fire), was the legendary first crossing of the Catsblood river. This extended Taralaki influence into the lands of the people of southern Irritaria, a people whose blood remains strong in the far south of Khul.
