Associated with the Marcher Lands of Hachiman. This is a huge animal. Its antlers are up to 15 feet long, seemingly made of ebony, and its eyes are said to be jewels of flame. The antler has magical properties, due perhaps to its strange whorled pattern, like a serpent. In fact, if struck correctly it will turn into a serpent staff. Until 281AC this animal had not been seen in 70 years.
