The source material of the map is the 3rd century AC manuscript 'Blacksand!' by the much admired Marc Gascoigne and Pete Tamlyn, (termed by some as 'Thoughts on Blacksand' or 'An Adventurer's Guide To City Life' or 'Rough Guide To Blacksand').
